Footpaths that have been ploughed need to be reinstated within 14 days which sometimes means 14 days from when the officer at SSDC is notified as it is difficult to ascertain when a path was ploughed.
A cropped path would be expected to be cleared when it is at a height where it is causing an obstruction, maize is often cut when it is about 15” high because cutting when it is short allows it to grow back. SSDC have already had one reported in our area (Y 9/23) which is being actioned so any that you see or get informed of any please report them to SSDC and they will put them on their database and contact the landowner or tenant farmer.
