As your Coker Ward District Councillor, it has been a privilege to represent and support your community within the Parish of Barwick and Stoford for over 8 years. All children and their futures are very important to me and I care for the needs of the senior members of our communities. It is also important to me to protect our historic and heritage ham stone villages which include Barwick and Stoford.
I have been a Parish Councillor at West Coker for nearly 40 years and I believe that Village life is very special. I have been very lucky to live, work and enjoy meeting many of the residents who live within our wonderful Coker Ward.

I live in Stoford with my family and I have been active in the community for a number of years – volunteering with the BSCC and at the school, among others.
It never ceases to impress me at how dedicated the community groups in Barwick and Stoford are and I’m passionate about mucking in and helping them and our local residents.
I’m incredibly proud to represent this community as a district councillor.

Your County Councillor, elected in 2017 for the Coker Division of Somerset County Council. I work to represent over 8000 residents in my patch. I was appointed Vice-Chair of the Council in 2019. I undertake many civic duties and attend 12 Parish Council meetings in this County Division on a monthly basis, delivering my report, answering questions and taking away any issues that need further work or require Officer assistance. I am always happy to listen and discuss the issues that matter and to help where and when I can.
